Golf Fans Gear Up for Inaugural TGL Season as Tiger Woods’ Team Jupiter Links GC Takes Shape

The highly anticipated TGL indoor golf league is inching closer to its debut, and the roster for Tiger Woods’ team, Jupiter Links GC, has been officially announced. The 15-time major champion will be joined by Max Homa, Tom Kim, and Kevin Kisner as part of his four-man squad for the upcoming prime-time series.

TGL, co-founded by Woods and Rory McIlroy, is set to kick off in January 2025, with six teams of four PGA Tour players competing in a custom-built stadium venue in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The league’s original 2024 start date was postponed by a year due to significant damage to the arena caused by a power outage.

The Jupiter Links GC Roster

Max Homa, a six-time PGA Tour winner and recent third-place finisher at the Masters, is known for his relatable social media persona. “[Homa] hits it so solid and has such a great ball flight. He is going to be a great asset to Jupiter Links, and I know he’s going to be a top player in this game for a long time,” said Woods, who played with Homa at Augusta National.

At just 21 years old, Tom Kim has already secured three PGA Tour victories and made a strong impression at the 2022 Presidents Cup. “Tom is so good and a very underrated player in my opinion,” Woods noted. “He stepped up for the International Team at the Presidents Cup when they needed it, which as a rookie, is no easy task. I’m excited to have him on the team.”

Rounding out the Jupiter Links GC roster is the fiery match-play specialist Kevin Kisner, a four-time PGA Tour winner. “Kis is one of the grittiest players on the PGA Tour,” Woods said. “I know his personality can fool some people into thinking he isn’t that competitive, but you don’t have the type of match-play record he does without being relentless. I think he’s going to be a great fit for our team and this type of format.”

As the TGL league continues to take shape, the roster for the sixth franchise, San Francisco, remains the only one yet to be determined. With the addition of Woods’ squad, golf enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating the inaugural season of this innovative indoor golf competition.
