Renowned Golfer Tiger Woods to Join Jupiter Links Golf Club for Innovative TGL League
Tiger Woods, one of the most iconic figures in golf, has officially confirmed his participation in the forward-looking TGL league. As one of the co-founders of the tech-infused golf league, Woods’ involvement has been eagerly anticipated by golf enthusiasts.
The league announced that Woods will be part of the four-man roster for Jupiter Links Golf Club, alongside fellow PGA TOUR stars Max Homa, Tom Kim, and Kevin Kisner. This lineup of world-class golfers is expected to proudly represent the Jupiter area and engage with fans for years to come.
“I have already shared my excitement and optimism for TGL as a league and product,” Woods said in a release. “Now that we have finalized our roster with a team of world-class golfers, I am even more confident that this group will proudly represent the Jupiter area and connect with our fans for years to come.”
Homa, a fellow Southern California native, has credited Woods as a major inspiration for his own professional golfing career, dating back to when he watched Woods win the 1998 Genesis Invitational in Homa’s hometown of Valencia, California. Kim, the 21-year-old rising star, has already won multiple PGA TOUR titles, a feat last achieved by Woods. Kisner, a four-time PGA TOUR winner and two-time Presidents Cup participant, will bring his veteran presence and renowned wit to the team.
“I feel very privileged to have played in the Tiger Era,” Kisner said in a statement. “Having the opportunity to compete against and alongside the GOAT has been one of the things I’ll remember most at the end of my career.”
The Jupiter Links Golf Club logo, designed with a nod to Woods’ signature style, incorporates the classic “Palm Flag” of Jupiter and features a hybrid golf pin flag and palm tree, representing the unique character of the team and its home course.
