Both Lowry and Skinns carded impressive five-under-par 66s, placing them at 13-under-par and in a tie for the top spot. Joining them on the leaderboard is American Austin Eckroat, who also sits at 13-under-par after a strong round.

Former Open champion Lowry is seeking his third PGA Tour victory, while Skinns, still searching for his first top-10 finish on the Tour, is poised to make a breakthrough.
