The Par 3 Contest, a beloved Masters week tradition, was played on the course’s nine-hole par-3 layout, with players teaming up in groups of up to three and often accompanied by families serving as caddies.
“Amidst the loblolly pines, the Par 3 Contest continues to serve as a cherished prelude to the main event, providing players, families, and patrons alike with a unique opportunity to revel in the spirit of the game and the traditions that make the Masters such a revered event.”
In addition to Fowler’s triumph, the day was marked by five hole-in-ones recorded by players, including:

- Viktor Hovland
While no player has ever won both the Par 3 Contest and the Masters Tournament in the same year, Fowler will look to make history as he sets his sights on the green jacket.
