With the 2023 golf season still in its early stages, Nelly Korda has already established herself as the player to beat in 2024. The 25-year-old world No. 1 made LPGA history on April 1st by clinching her third consecutive victory at the inaugural Ford Championship in Gilbert, Arizona.

Battling chilly and rainy conditions at the Seville Golf and Country Club, Korda fired a flawless 7-under 65 in the final round to overcome a two-stroke deficit and finish the tournament at 20-under, two shots clear of Australia’s Hira Naveed. The following month, she returned to the winner’s circle at the Seri Pak Championship in Los Angeles, once again showcasing her remarkable ability to rally from behind and seal the deal.

After a challenging two-year stretch marked by injuries and ailments, including a blood clot in her arm, the world No. 1 appears to have rediscovered her best form. As Korda remarked, “I’m just really enjoying myself out there. I mean, I love golf. I’ve always loved golf. Sometimes it’s harder than other days.”
