The field for the upcoming RBC Heritage tournament at Harbour Town Golf Links is set, with 15 players earning their spots through the Aon Next 10 and Aon Swing 5 categories.
The Aon Next 10, which includes the top 10 players on the 2024 FedExCup standings (excluding the top 50 from 2023), saw Sweden’s Ludvig Åberg finish as the runner-up at the Masters Tournament to claim the top spot. The rest of the top nine on the Aon Next 10 remained unchanged, although some positions were shuffled.
Among the notable qualifiers, Erik van Rooyen secured his fourth career start at the RBC Heritage, having displayed a strong performance at the event in recent years. Prior to a missed cut in 2023, he finished T21 and T10 in the 2020 and 2022 editions, respectively.
The Aon Swing 5, comprising the Puerto Rico Open, Valspar Championship, Texas Children’s Houston Open, and Valero Texas Open, also contributed players to the RBC Heritage field. Brice Garnett, Erik Barnes, Thomas Detry, Chandler Phillips, and Alejandro Tosti earned their spots through strong finishes in these events.
