Woods began his round impressively by sinking a birdie putt on the par-4 opening hole, marking his first Masters-opening birdie since 1999. He continued his momentum, securing another birdie on the par-5 eighth hole, turning in 1-under 35.
“The wind was all over the place,” Woods shared after his round. “It was one of the most tricky days that I’ve ever been a part of.”
